This indicator shows the net migration for New Zealand. Net migration is the difference between the number of people who arrive in a country to live there and the number of people who leave that country to live in another country.
Migration estimates are provisional for the last 16 months. Provisional migration estimates are revised each month until finalised about 17 months after the reference period.
